HOUSE COMMITTEES WRAP UP PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON CRUCIAL DOCUMENTS

The County Assembly Committees on Budget and Appropriations; Finance and Trade; and the Sectoral Committee on Lands, Physical Planning, Surveying and Housing, have today concluded public participation on the following key documents with a bearing towards the development of the county:
1. Model Intergovernmental Conditional Grants Allocation Transfer Agreements
2. Solid Waste Management Policies for Bondo and Ugunja Municipalities
3. Integrated Development Plans for Siaya, Bondo and Ugunja Municipalities
4. Gender Mainstreaming Framework for Siaya, Bondo and Ugunja Municipalities
5. Public Participation Framework for Siaya, Bondo and Ugunja Municipalities
6. Public/Private Dialogue and Funding Framework for Siaya, Bondo and Ugunja Municipalities
7. Grievance Redress Mechanism Framework for Siaya, Bondo and Ugunja Municipalities
8. Siaya County Urban Institutional Development Strategy
9. Siaya County Revenue Administration and Management Bill, 2023
During the exercise that was conducted in line with Article 196(1)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, members of the public voiced their thoughts and gave valuable insights on the crucial documents that will shape the development trajectory of the county.
