HOUSE APPROVES CHIEF OFFICER NOMINEES

SIAYA, 10th February, 2021 –

The County Assembly, which reconvened for the Fifth Session yesterday, has today in its Morning Sitting, unanimously approved the following nominees for the position of Chief Officers:-

1. Denis Ariango Nyonje – Chief Officer for Department of Finance and Economic Planning

2. Joseph Onyango Omondi – Chief Officer for Department of Governance and Administration

3. James Onyango Odongo – Chief Officer for Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport

The House, under the leadership of Speaker George Okode, noted that the nominees had complied with all the laid down requirements and proved beyond any reasonable doubt to be competent individuals.

The names of the three will now be sent to H.E the Governor for appointment.

Joseph Onyango Omondi – Chief Officer for Department of Governance and Administration

James Onyango Odongo – Chief Officer for Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport
