SIAYA, 7th June – The Mayor of the Canadian Town of Taber, Andrew Prokop, this morning paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the County Assembly, Hon. George Okode.

Their deliberations centered on possible areas of collaboration between Siaya County and the Town of Taber and the need to enrich bilateral agreements in areas of mutual interest.

The Mayor also addressed the House where he apprised Members on the collaborative efforts designed to improve Bondo Town courtesy of a proposed partnership agreement for twinning the Town of Taber in Canada and Bondo Municipality.
