SIAYA, 11th March, 2021 –

House Committee on Selection, chaired by Majority Leader and Ugunja Town MCA Hon. Peter Odero Oor, yesterday met with their Embu County Assembly counterparts, who were on a one day benchmarking visit to the County Assembly of Siaya.

The Committee, held a consultative meeting with the Embu County Assembly delegation, geared towards exchanging notes on pertinent issues regarding the smooth administration of their mandates.

The Embu delegation led by Majority Leader Hon. Michael Njeru, sought to among others, understand the strategies for enhancing the efficacious operations of House committees.

The delegation also sought to compare notes with their counterpart committee on the processes and procedures of nominating members sitting in various County Assembly Committees.
