HOUSE COMMITTEE BEGINS SCRUTINY OF AUDIT REPORTS

In an effort to enhance financial accountability, the House Committee on Public Accounts and Investments has commenced an in-depth examination of multiple audit reports concerning the County establishment. This process is in accordance with the provisions of Article 229 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
The inquiry sessions will focus on audit queries related to the financial statements for the fiscal year ending 30th June 2024.
Chaired by Yala Town MCA, Hon. William Kinyanyi, the Committee commenced its scrutiny by questioning the Siaya Municipality Board, led by the Board Chairperson, Dr. Winnie Oyugi, and Municipal Manager, Linet Oyola.
