House Speaker George Okode has sent a message of condolence and encouragement to Sidindi Ward Member of County Assembly Hon. Joseph Wandera and family following the death of his wife Mama Grace Akinyi Wandera.
Mama Grace passed away Wednesday afternoon at Siaya County Referral Hospital.
In his message of comfort, the Speaker mourned Mama Grace as devoutly religious, respected and responsible woman whose wise counsel and love shall be dearly missed.
‘In this hour of sorrow and grief, on behalf of the County Assembly of Siaya and my family, I would like to convey our deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and relatives of Hon. Wandera, and to the great people of Sidindi Ward. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult moment. May our prayers serve as comfort for you at this trying moment,’ the Speaker encouraged Hon. Wandera and the family.
