Ukwala MCA, Hon. Joseph Peter Oduor, has been sworn in as Vice Chairperson of the Third Siaya County Assembly Service Board.

The ceremony was presided over by the Assembly Speaker Hon. George Okode and witnessed by Clerk of the Assembly Mr. Erick Ogenga who is also the Secretary to the Board

Mr. Eliud Onyango Owino and Mrs. Margaret Aoko Olale also took oath of office as external members of the Siaya County Assembly Service Board having successfully gone through competitive interview that attracted 30 applicants.

The members will serve for a term of five years.

The County Assembly Service Board is constituted pursuant to Section 12 of the County Governments Act, 2012.

Management and leadership of the County Assembly is entrusted to the County Assembly Service Board. The Board undertakes to ensure the goals and objectives of the County Assembly are achieved.
