At the ACK Cathedral Church in Alego Usonga Sub County, members of the public underscored the need to have all county departmental management systems automated so as to ensure efficiency in service delivery.

They also proposed for a budgetary allocation to enhance the county’s forest cover in a bid to curb the diverse effects of climatic changes and further requested the Committee to consider having a budget on feeding program at the ECDE centers.

At the Sawagongo ACK Church in Gem Sub County, members of the public requested for a budgetary allocation for the construction of cattle dips at the Ward level and the employment of agricultural extension officers. They further requested for more funds to be allocated for seeds, fertilizer and other farm inputs.

They requested the county government to allocate funds to help address the plights of Persons With Disabilities in the youth polytechnics; recruit more ECDE teachers and empower the youth by helping them nurture their skills and talents.

Having received views from key stakeholders and members of the public, the Committee is expected to prepare a report for consideration by the House.
