EACC RELEASES CORRUPTION RISK ASSESSMENT REPORT ON SIAYA COUNTY ASSEMBLY

Early this year, the County Assembly played host to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) as they conducted an indepth audit of our systems, procedures and practices.

The Corruption Risk Assessment programme was aimed at identifying and sealing any corruption avenues within our establishment.

Today, the 27th day of July, 2023 the EACC team presented to us its report on the same.

While receiving the CRA Report, House Speaker George Okode remarked that the report will assist the County Assembly in streamlining its operations and reduce opportunities for corruption within its systems.

“In our endeavour to ensure efficiency in service delivery to the people, we’ll soon come up with an implementation matrix geared towards effecting the recommendations set in the report,” he opined.
