Having previously served as the Member of County Assembly for East Asembo Ward (2017-2022), the nominee pledged to put into place measures of militating against illegal water connections and poor water infrastructure in the county.

During the vetting exercise, Ms. Oyugi further underscored her resolve to strengthen the Siaya Bondo Water and Sanitation Company in terms of budgetary allocation for it to reach its optimum in terms of distribution of water in the county.

If successful, Ms. Oyugi expressed her desire to work on collaborations with other development partners within the water sector in a bid to ensure that water reaches the people of Siaya.

The Committee will retreat to prepare a report on the suitability of the nominee and thereafter the report will be tabled in the House for consideration
