HOUSE APPROVES NOMINEES TO SIAYA AND BONDO MUNICIPALITIES BOARDS

The County Assembly, under the leadership of Speaker George Okode, has this afternoon APPROVED the persons nominated by H.E the Governor for appointment as members of the Siaya and Bondo Municipality Boards.
In a unanimous decision, the House approved a report of the Select Committee on Lands, Physical Planning, Surveying and Housing noting that the nominees had met the prerequisite qualifications and complied with all the laid down requirements envisaged by Section 14 of the Urban Areas and Cities [Amendment] Act, 2019.
Those given the nod to serve are;
- Morphine Achieng’ Orao – Siaya Municipality Board
- Luke Otieno Ogutu – Bondo Municipality Board
