HOUSE APPROVES SELECTION PANEL FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF THE COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD CHAIRPERSON.

On Wednesday, 21st February, 2024, the House Committee on Appointments conducted approval hearings for the three persons nominated by Governor Orengo as members of the Selection Panel for the recruitment of the Chairperson of the County Public Service Board. This was done in line with the provisions of Section 58A of the County Governments Act, 2012.
Having considered the suitability, capacity and integrity of the nominees, the County Assembly has today, Tuesday, 27th February, 2024, APPROVED the nomination of the following persons for appointment by His Excellency the Governor to the Selection Panel for the recruitment of the Chairperson of the County Public Service Board: –
- Mr. Ambala Fred Edward Otieno
- CPA. Risper Olick
- Ms. Gladys Olambo Okoth
The House has further recommended that the Selection Panel should immediately, upon appointment, commence its functions as per the provisions of Section 58A (4) of the County Governments Act, 2012.
