Pursuant to Section 45(1) of the County Governments Act, 2012 read together with Siaya County Assembly Standing Order 200(5) (f), the County Assembly Committees on Governance and Administration; Finance, Trade, Labour, Industry and Cooperatives; and Public Works, Roads, Transport and Communication, have today vetted the following nominees for the position of Chief Officers:-

1. Joseph Onyango Omondi – Chief Officer for Department of Governance and Administration

2. Denis Ariango Nyonje – Chief Officer for Department of Finance and Economic Planning

3. James Onyango Odongo – Chief Officer for Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport

The Committees are expected to table their recommendations on the nominees to the House this week.
