Pursuant to Article 196 (1)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, the Committee on Finance invites
interested members of the Public to submit any written memorandum they may have on the two Bills.

1. The Siaya County Finance Bill,2021 (Siaya County Bill No. 8 of 2021) sponsored by Hon.
Peter Oduor seeks to amend the County Legislations relating to Fees, Charges, Licenses,
Rent, rates for services and other revenue raising measures by the County Government

2. The Siaya County Revenue Administration and Management Bill, 2021 (Siaya County
Bill No. 9 of 2021) sponsored by Hon. Peter Oduor seeks to provide for effective collection,
receipt and management of revenue; provide responsibilities for the County receiver of
revenue and other public offices and entities involved in revenue collection

Copies of the Bills are available at the ward offices or on the Assembly website
(www.siayaassembly.go.ke).

Written memoranda can be hand delivered to the Ward Offices across the County, Office of the Clerk
of the County Assembly at Siaya County Assembly Buildings or be sent to the Clerk of the County
Assembly of Siaya, P.O. Box 7 – 40600, Siaya or emailed to clerk@siayaassembly.go.ke. On or
before 30th November 2021 at 5. 00p.m
