NOTICE TO NOMINEES AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58A of the County Governments Act, 2012, the nominees listed in schedule 1 for the position of Members of the Selection Panel for recruitment of the Chairperson of the Siaya County Public Service Board are invited to appear before the Assembly Select Committee on Appointments at the County Assembly Chambers, Siaya on Wednesday, 21st February, 2024 at the stated times.
In line with Article 196(1)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, Section 45(1) of the County Government Act, 2017; the public Appointments ( County Assemblies Approval ) Act, 2017, Section 14 of the Urban Areas and Cities (Amendment) Act, 2019; members of the public and relevant stakeholders are hereby informed that the following nominees are invited to appear before the stated Assembly Committee for vetting at the County Assembly Building Siaya on the stated dates, time and venue as per schedule 2 and 3.
In addition, members of the public and relevant stakeholders are hereby informed that the CECM Health Services has nominated the persons listed in Schedule 4 to serve as Hospital Board Members in fulfillment of Section 12(1) & (2) of the Siaya County Health Services Act, 2019. The nominees are hereby invited to appear before the Committee on Health Services for vetting at the County Assembly Building, Siaya, Boardroom 3 on the stated dates and time as per schedule 4.
The nominees are required to collect vetting forms from the office of the Clerk to the Assembly during the official working hours or download from Assembly website.www.siayaassembly.go.ke and return them with copies of the following documents by Tuesday, 20th February, 2024 at 5.00pm.
- ID Card or passport
- Curriculum Vitae, personal credentials and academic certificates,
- Current Compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Current Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Current Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anti – Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Current Certificate of Good Conduct from Directorate of Criminal Investigation(DCI)
- Current Clearance from respective professional bodies (where applicable)
- Current Clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
- Accreditation from Commission of University Education for foreign degrees (where applicable)
- Evidence (not a C.V) of constitutional and statutory requirements relating to the office in question as stipulated in as stipulated in Section 8(b) of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval) Act,2017.
- Dully filled Vetting Questionnaire
The nominees are advised to bring the originals of the aforementioned documents on the vetting day.
Members of the public are invited to submit any information/memorandum /petition that they may have a bearing on the selection of the candidates’.
